Beginning Fiddle for Adults
Have you always loved the sound of the fiddle and wished that you could play? Perhaps you had lessons on the violin as a child but haven’t touched it since. If so, this is the class for you! These enjoyable, low-key group lessons will have you playing simple fiddle tunes by the end of six weeks.
Targeted at the beginning student with little or no knowledge of the instrument, the course will use easy Irish, bluegrass, and old-time fiddle tunes to teach solid position for holding the instrument and producing a good tone.
If you have your own instrument bring it along, otherwise contact the instructor (hopegrietzer1@netzero.com) for information on renting. All other material will be provided by the instructor.
